Often the most common issue a customer can face is the requirement to backup a virtualised environment and this can be easily ignored and cause issue during the project.
Backup and storage requirements should be tightly integrated and as much emphasis should be placed in designing both aspects very early on in the consolidation project. Virtual Age always advise that a viable backup solution must be in place before a single server/desktop/application is virtualised.
